How to Improve Reading Fluency for Better Comprehension
Reading fluency is SO important!
If your child’s reading isn’t fluent, you can’t expect comprehension. Your child will be too busy decoding and pronouncing the words to even think about meaning!!
Our fluency app allows you to help your child reach the reading fluency they need for their grade level (up to mid Grade 5!)
Here’s some more handy advice for improving reading fluency. The more ways you target a skill, the quicker you will see improvement!

Once you know your reader has a problem, it can be overwhelming knowing what to do. We’ve solved the problem for you. Check out our 30 Day Reading Plan.

We know you’re busy, so we don’t dump information on you. Instead, once per week, you’ll get a 5-day schedule of fun reading activities that will build your child’s comprehension skills incrementally.
The activities vary from day to day and target key comprehension skills such as inference, main idea, reading fluency, etc. Each activity takes 15-20 minutes to complete.
We provide links for all the resources you need, so you can spend your time helping your child.
At the end of the week, we’ll check in with suggestions for how to review your child’s progress and what to do if you are concerned.

We released 4 fantastic new apps…These include
Reading Comprehension 3
– this app provides great overall reading practice for kids reading at a grade 3 level. Best of all, results show your child’s strengths and weaknesses. You’ll know if your child is struggling with main idea or inferencing etc. This is SO much better than knowing your child got 6/10 correct!!
Reading Comprehension 4
– like Reading Comprehension 3, but targeted to your Grade 4 reader.
Verb Expert
The app helps kids who need extra practice in knowing what form of a verb to use. Four tenses are covered: past, present, present progressive and future.
WH Questions
This app helps kids who need more practice at finding details in the text to answer questions.
