Use the following as a guideline. Tell your child, “Pretend you are a newspaper reporter. You have been sent to write an article about me. You must ask me questions that will give you answers to write about.”

Allow your child to interview you and then he/she will write the answers into a story or newspaper article. If needed, you can model the process first by being the newspaper reporter. Tell them to make it interesting or even funny!

Congratulate your child on an excellent job!
